About us

used and revitalizing robotparts
ROBOSQUARE is the website of tech enthusiasts based in The Netherlands. We are not a company. We sell on the basis of Consumer to consumer (C-to-C). As a a non-commercial private 'activity' robot parts are usually sold to other techies or robotics enthusiasts. Parts are from articulated industrial robots, (manipulators) and robot controllers
from leading manufacturers The parts that are sold, are no longer used in a private capacity. Due to abovementioned reasons Robosquare.nl is not to be regarded as company and therefore no VAT is calculated.
Liability-wise, selling privately ( on a consumer to consumer basis) means no consumer protections is provided, such as warranty or returns. That having said , as u buyer / fellow robot enthusiast you may expect that the effort is continuously made to create fair buy/sell conditions for all concerned.
As a result Robosquare can offer:
HARMONIC DRIVE reducers ( strainwave speed reducers)
planetary reducers,
robot joints (SLURBT),
electrical components
electronics for control.
The robots or parts of these robots have been used by us as enthusiasts/techies, for examle for educational purposes and or projects, thus tested for electrical, electronic and mechanical functionality. Robots and therefore the parts, were acquired off of decommissioned robots / automation from factoryplants where the robots usually performed high demanding repetitive tasks. As a result the parts dislayed on the robosquare website are of used machines. A lot of pride an enjoyment comes with dissassembling and assembling machines, learning from itterations in development of these machiens as the manufacturing date progresses. When a robot gets - and stays- dissassebled, the mechanical robot parts are visually inspected, oiled, reassembled and stored for later use in projects ór are sold to fellow techies and robot enthusiasts for their projects.
One example of a project using a robotpart: a reducer can be used in a project to create a positioner on a vertical mill.
